LaxJobs Dispatch No. 8

Happy Wednesday & welcome to LaxJobs Dispatch No. 8.

Last week, 12 new jobs were posted to the site in one of our busiest weeks on record. Awesome stuff.

This week, however, only one new job was submitted as many seasons have gotten underway across the U.S.

This is to be expected and we anticipate submissions slowing as the spring approaches.

But, with that said, there are still hundreds of coaching vacancies that need to be filled across North America and beyond.

The biggest problem we see? Awareness.

The masses don’t know that we exist.

While we have a network of over 3,000 coaches & professionals that follow us on social media, subscribe to our newsletter, and have created Job Alerts/Talent Pool Profiles, we haven’t even scratched the surface.

So, this week, we want to ask a favor of you:

Will you tell just two friends/colleagues that LaxJobs is here to help?

Coaches, Athletic Directors, Administrators… anyone that could benefit from our service.

All of our utilities are free to hiring organizations and job seekers.

We work tirelessly to get jobs filled (unlike WorkInSports, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.

We do it for the game.

Now, are we surprised that we haven’t scratched the surface?

Not at all. We are just a grassroots movement, started on Twitter in 2022. Our only advertisements have been Retweets.

But, that is all about to change.

We are investing in more formal advertising initiatives with the hope that LaxJobs.us is the first resource that comes to mind when programs need coaches and coaches need programs (or manufacturers need sales reps, or tournaments need staff, or clubs need administrators, or officials associations need stripes, etc, etc).

More to come on that, but for now, tell a friend and know that you’re helping the cause.
